Halcyon days - part 1

7 of us... we have less than a month of staying together!!!
2 years of limitless pranks and growing up is going to come to an end...
my heart feels heavy... may be because it carries all these loved ones...
looks like most of my meager weight comes from there.
my friend uma calls it "giant wheel effect" her stomach seems to churn about our days of living together coming to an end.
Afterall change is a partner of life uma... it is a dedicated wife to life :(

i think u r expecting this to be a real final seperation and hence playing it out that way, with the regular 5 stages of grief. But real friends remain friends no matter what. Like everything else thats good, this of course requires lots of effort. Friendship and the happiness that is derived from it and every good thing that goes with it need not have proximity as a prerequisite. I would argue that such a friendship is... (alarm bells are going off in my head that my words will be misinterpreted - so i am stopping here)

Anyway, good luck to you all!

don't worry abt misinterpretations... for what we are talking about is not about "final seperation"
I completely agree with you on everything else...
What we are mourning not on ending our friendship, but on ending our staying together...

again not stalkin' but i this word caught my eyes. as a trance addict, i have this entire series of an old retro trance gang called "Orbital" they have a song called halcyon. there are 2 songs by them "halcyon, on and on" and "halcyon" first one is from the popular 80's TV series twilight zone and 2nd is from the movie "the hackers" both the videos are there in youtube. worth watching the originral halcyon video and also the hacker theme song.
yeah if halcyon be expanded? it be termed in one line as "bitter sweet " memories/feelings...
unless you are in a mood of extacy halcyon audio tracks wont/cant be enjoyed or unless in a theque with shiny disco balls sparkling of lights in all direction. yeah these are major theque numbers tho retro still stomps the dance floor.
aite' no more stalkin' or postin'.... bootin' off windows (left hand three finger salute), and going back to dooms world "Linux" the good-evil domain!
